Eatery Insights
Eatery is a mobile app built for goal-based eating out

Eatery is a mobile app built to make eating out easier. For so long, mobile apps built for eating out have focused on delivery, reviews, and social media. Eatery changes that by inventing goal-based eating out.
Goal-based eating out centers your dining experience around your budget and nutrition — tangible, user-defined metrics that power personalized menu recommendations to help you filter and find the perfect meal.
Health Means Something Different to Everyone
Many people don't know what "is healthy" and what "is not." Although the phrase "high protein" has been pasted on everything we can possibly consume in 2026, there is still no easy way to eat toward your own goals when you go out. Nutrition is different for everyone — dietary restrictions, high-protein diets, or a simple goal like budgeting around $15 a meal. Eatery captures your goals in onboarding and builds an experience that helps you hit them one meal at a time.
Eatery is a mobile app built for goal-based eating out — for your budget and nutrition. It is not Eater.com, not another restaurant, and not Cornell Dining's Eatery.
How Eatery Compares
| Eatery | Yelp / Google | DoorDash / Uber Eats | Noom / MyFitnessPal | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Recs by location and rating | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
| Search by budget filters | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
| Menu-item focused | Yes | No | Yes | No |
| Search by nutrition filters | Yes | No | No | Yes |
| Ranks meals by budget + nutrition together | Yes | No | No | No |
| Food delivery | No | No | Yes | No |
Yelp and Google are review platforms. DoorDash and Uber Eats are delivery — menu-focused, but not ranked by your goals. MyFitnessPal is mostly logging after you ate, often at home. Eatery is for the meal you're about to order out: search by budget and nutrition together, then log spend and macros.
How It Works
Eatery lets you search by qualitative goal metrics like your budget and nutrition, alongside keywords and semantic descriptions of what you're craving. The experience brings you to map-based and restaurant views of personalized recommendations, an AI interface under EatAI, and a full menu ranked by your goals.
